On Monday night, a 32-year-old woman died after falling from a building in Henveiru district of Male’ City. According to the police, the Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) informed them that the woman was already dead when she arrived at the hospital.
The authorities were alerted to the incident at around 8:05 pm, and police officers are still present at the scene. The woman reportedly fell from the fifth floor of the Lily Night home.
Social media photos showed that the woman landed face-first and suffered severe head injuries. There was a pool of blood where she landed.
This incident occurred less than 24 hours after a four-year-old boy fell to his death from the fifth floor of a building in the same district of Male’ City.
