The planning ministry has hired AMIN Construction Pvt. Ltd to finish construction on the POLCO project, which is a housing project in Hulhumale’ Phase I for Maldives Police Service officers.
On Thursday afternoon, Fathimath Shana Farooq, Director General of the Planning Ministry, and Mohamed Irufan, Director of AMIN Construction, signed the project agreement.
The three buildings constructed as part of the POLCO project feature a total of 361 flats. A typical unit is 1,100 square feet in size.
The towers will also have a parking lot, a commercial space, and a multi-purpose hall.
The project, supervised by the planning ministry and the Maldives Police Service, is worth MVR 274 million and will take eight months to complete.
