Bison Maldives has signed a contract with Dutch Docklands Maldives to build the first homes in the Floating City.
The Floating City project is the development of 5,000 homes built on a lagoon five-minute speedboat ride away from Male’ City.
Bison Maldives stated that the homes are being built to the specifications designed by Dutch engineers. Moreover, the 5,000 homes will be tethered to the lagoon floor, and linked together.
Furthermore, Bison Maldives stated that the first units will be ready post-Ramadan, and tours for the public will commence shortly afterwards which will offer a realistic experience of this gigantic project.
