BML Removes Monthly USD Withdrawal Limit

Bank of Maldives (BML) has removed the limit on cash withdrawals from US Dollar accounts.

BML lifted the USD2,000 monthly withdrawal limit through ATMs and branches. Customers can withdraw USD1,600 from their dollar accounts daily through USD ATMs in Male’, Hulhumale’ and Velana International Airport (VIA). In addition, debit cards with USD accounts as primary accounts will be able to make transactions abroad up to USD3,000 per day.

BML also stated that USD accounts will also be available for international money transfers through the internet and mobile banking.
