Bank of Maldives (BML) has begun collecting applications for fourth-quarter initiatives through its ‘Aharenge Bank’ Community Fund.
The Community Fund is accessible to people and registered NGOs that want to help their communities through long-term initiatives; the bank will choose the top five applications.
The winning initiatives in education, environment, sports, and community participation will get MVR 50,000 to help them get started.
Applications will be accepted until 11:59 p.m. on November 30th, and interested parties should send their plans and accompanying documents to community@bml.com.mv
According to the bank, its Community Fund has provided financial assistance to 55 initiatives around the country. The ‘Aharenge Bank’ Community Fund is described in further detail on the bank’s website.
