Bank of Maldives (BML) on Sunday supported the annual ‘Pink Ribbon Run-Walk’ organised by Cancer Society of Maldives (CSM) to raise public awareness on breast cancer.
The ‘Pink Ribbon Run-Walk’ was held today in Hulhumale’ and in 33 islands.
The Bank also donated MVR 150,000 to CSM in support of initiatives to increase cancer awareness and provide psychosocial support to cancer patients and their families. In addition, the Bank will also be supporting CSM’s cancer screening program in Faafu atoll.
Earlier this month, as part of the longstanding partnership, CSM conducted cancer screenings for the Bank’s staff. Bank of Maldives has been supporting CSM and the Pink Ribbon Run-walk since 2016.
