Maldives Police Service have sent the body of brutally murdered girl, Shiaau Mohamed Saeed’s for autopsy on Thursday.
Shiaau, 22-year old at the time of her death, was found brutally murdered with her limbs severed in a Malé apartment near Cibo Cafe last Saturday. Famous local skater, Ali Saahil, 23-year old was arrested as the major suspect from the crime scene.
Police have revealed that Saahil was intoxicated at the time of arrest and has been remanded by the Criminal Court until the end of his trial. However, he is yet to make a confession. No other individual has been identified as a person of interest, Police stated.
