Club Valencia’s Srilankan defender Dukson has been found dead at his apartment tonight in an apparent suicide.
Dukson was not included in today’s matchday squad against Da Grande in Dhivehi Premier League due to an injury he sustained in the previous match.
Dukson was one of the best players of the tournament in the recent SAFF Championship. He has shown impressive defensive ability and was one of the key players in the current Club Valencia side.
The case is being investigated by Maldives Police Service according to a Club Valencia’s official.
