The Health Protection Agency (HPA) reported 1,004 new cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 58,345.
According to the data, there are 833 new cases from the Greater Male’ Area, 153 cases from residential islands outside Male’, 4 cases from liveaboards, and 12 cases from operational resorts.
The total number of COVID-19 cases reported in the country has reached 58,345 with 34,159 patients having fully recovered. The total number of deaths has increased to 144 with 5 additional deaths reported in the last 24 hours.
