Health Protection Agency (HPA), on Wednesday, reported an additional 110 cases of COVID-19 infections in the Maldives, increasing the tally to 21,144.
As reported by HPA, the 110 new cases includes; 84 cases from the Greater Male’ area, 2 cases from islands outside Male’, 24 cases from operational resorts, and no case from liveaboards.
Meanwhile, 18,534 people have made full recoveries in total.
Maldives currently has 2,539 active cases and 164 patients are being treated in Hospitals and Medical Facilities while 64 COVID related deaths confirmed so far.
Maldives started COVID-19 mass vaccination program on February 1. HPA states 9,781 individuals were inoculated today and 5,322 were from the atolls.
175,456 individuals have now been vaccinated under the program.
