Health Protection Agency (HPA), on Tuesday, reported an additional 115 cases of COVID-19 infections in the Maldives, increasing the tally to 21,034.
As reported by HPA, the 115 new cases includes; 98 cases from the Greater Male’ area, 5 cases from islands outside Male’, 12 cases from operational resorts, and no case from liveaboards.
Meanwhile, 18,428 people have made full recoveries in total.
Maldives currently has 2,535 active cases and 165 patients are being treated in Hospitals and Medical Facilities while 64 COVID related deaths confirmed so far.
Maldives started COVID-19 mass vaccination program on February 1. HPA states 7,862 individuals were inoculated today and 3,779 were from the atolls.
165, 675 individuals have now been vaccinated under the program.
