Health Protection Agency (HPA), on Sunday, reported an additional 121 cases of COVID-19 infections in the Maldives, increasing the tally to 23,524.
As reported by HPA, the 121 new cases includes; 49 cases from the Greater Male’ area, 46 cases from islands outside Male’, 12 cases from operational resorts, and 13 cases from island under development/industrial.
Meanwhile, 20,723 people have made full recoveries in total.
Maldives currently has 2,728 active cases and 93 patients are being treated in Hospitals and Medical Facilities while 66 COVID related deaths confirmed so far.
2,045 were inoculated today, taking the total to 232,175 since the start of vaccination program on February 1st.
