Health Protection Agency (HPA), on Wednesday, reported an additional 139 cases of COVID-19 infections in the Maldives, increasing the tally to 22,929.
As reported by HPA, the 139 new cases includes; 89 cases from the Greater Male’ area, 31 cases from islands outside Male’, 19 cases from operational resorts, no case from island under development and no case from liveaboards.
Meanwhile, 20,359 people have made full recoveries in total.
Maldives currently has 2,497 active cases and 103 patients are being treated in Hospitals and Medical Facilities while 66 COVID related deaths confirmed so far.
2,009 were vaccinated today, taking the total tally to 224,979 in Maldives since vaccination campaign began in February 1st.
