Health Protection Agency (HPA), on Friday, reported an additional 145 cases of COVID-19 infections in the Maldives, increasing the tally to 22,292.
As reported by HPA, the 145 new cases includes; 104 cases from the Greater Male’ area, 21 cases from islands outside Male’, 14 cases from operational resorts, 0 case from island under development and 5 cases from liveaboards.
Meanwhile, 19,773 people have made full recoveries in total.
Maldives currently has 2,447 active cases and 120 patients are being treated in Hospitals and Medical Facilities while 65 COVID related deaths confirmed so far.
Maldives started COVID-19 mass vaccination program on February 1. HPA states 449 individuals were inoculated today.
218,046 individuals have now been vaccinated under the program.
