Health Protection Agency (HPA), on Friday, reported an additional 146 cases of COVID-19 infections in the Maldives, increasing the tally to 23,237.
As reported by HPA, the 146 new cases includes; 59 cases from the Greater Male’ area, 11 cases from islands outside Male’, 10 cases from operational resorts, and 66 cases from island under development/industrial.
Meanwhile, 20,529 people have made full recoveries in total.
Maldives currently has 2,635 active cases and 100 patients are being treated in Hospitals and Medical Facilities while 66 COVID related deaths confirmed so far.
273 were vaccinated today, taking the total tally to 227,697 in Maldives since vaccination campaign began in February 1st.
