Health Protection Agency (HPA), on Monday, reported an additional 149 cases of COVID-19 infections in the Maldives, increasing the tally to 22,662.
As reported by HPA, the 149 new cases includes; 120 cases from the Greater Male’ area, 4 cases from islands outside Male’, 18 cases from operational resorts, 0 case from island under development and 7 cases from liveaboards.
Meanwhile, 20,142 people have made full recoveries in total.
Maldives currently has 2,447 active cases and 90 patients are being treated in Hospitals and Medical Facilities while 66 COVID related deaths confirmed so far.
Maldives started COVID-19 mass vaccination program on February 1. HPA states 1,856 individuals were inoculated today.
220,768 individuals have now been vaccinated under the program.
