Health Protection Agency (HPA), on Monday, reported an additional 153 cases of COVID-19 infections in the Maldives, increasing the tally to 21,819.
As reported by HPA, the 153 new cases includes; 132 cases from the Greater Male’ area, 13 cases from islands outside Male’, 2 cases from operational resorts, 03 cases from island under development and 03 case from liveaboards.
Meanwhile, 19,342 people have made full recoveries in total.
Maldives currently has 2,406 active cases and 126 patients are being treated in Hospitals and Medical Facilities while 64 COVID related deaths confirmed so far.
Maldives started COVID-19 mass vaccination program on February 1. HPA states 1,775 individuals were inoculated today.
214,486 individuals have now been vaccinated under the program.
