Health Protection Agency (HPA), on Thursday, reported an additional 162 cases of COVID-19 infections in the Maldives, increasing the tally to 23,091.
As reported by HPA, the 162 new cases includes; 99 cases from the Greater Male’ area, 45 cases from islands outside Male’, 15 cases from operational resorts, 01 case from island under development and 02 cases from liveaboards.
Meanwhile, 20,439 people have made full recoveries in total.
Maldives currently has 2,579 active cases and 103 patients are being treated in Hospitals and Medical Facilities while 66 COVID related deaths confirmed so far.
2,444 were vaccinated today, taking the total tally to 227,423 in Maldives since vaccination campaign began in February 1st.
