Health Protection Agency (HPA), on Saturday, reported an additional 166 cases of COVID-19 infections in the Maldives, increasing the tally to 23,403.
As reported by HPA, the 166 new cases includes; 91 cases from the Greater Male’ area, 52 cases from islands outside Male’, 11 cases from operational resorts, and 1 case from island under development/industrial.
Meanwhile, 20,618 people have made full recoveries in total.
Maldives currently has 2,712 active cases and 98 patients are being treated in Hospitals and Medical Facilities while 66 COVID related deaths confirmed so far.
2,434 were inoculated today, taking the total to 230,130 since the start of vaccination program on February 1st.
