Health Protection Agency (HPA), on Tuesday, reported an additional 167 cases of COVID-19 infections in the Maldives, increasing the tally to 23,838.
As reported by HPA, the 167 new cases includes; 86 cases from the Greater Male’ area, 59 cases from islands outside Male’, 21 cases from operational resorts, and 01 case from island under development/industrial.
Meanwhile, 20,984 people have made full recoveries in total.
Maldives currently has 2,780 active cases and 91 patients are being treated in Hospitals and Medical Facilities while 66 COVID related deaths confirmed so far.
1,807 were inoculated today, taking the total to 235,682 since the start of vaccination program on February 1st.
