Health Protection Agency (HPA), on Monday, reported an additional 147 cases of COVID-19 infections in the Maldives, increasing the tally to 23,671.
As reported by HPA, the 147 new cases includes; 65 cases from the Greater Male’ area, 69 cases from islands outside Male’, 10 cases from operational resorts, and 03 cases from island under development/industrial.
Meanwhile, 20,839 people have made full recoveries in total.
Maldives currently has 2,759 active cases and 93 patients are being treated in Hospitals and Medical Facilities while 66 COVID related deaths confirmed so far.
1,700 were inoculated today, taking the total to 233,875 since the start of vaccination program on February 1st.
