Health Protection Agency (HPA), on Saturday, reported an additional 81 cases of COVID-19 infections in the Maldives, increasing the tally to 22,373.
As reported by HPA, the 81 new cases includes; 52 cases from the Greater Male’ area, 22 cases from islands outside Male’, 7 cases from operational resorts, 0 case from island under development and 0 case from liveaboards.
Meanwhile, 19,897 people have made full recoveries in total.
Maldives currently has 2,404 active cases and 107 patients are being treated in Hospitals and Medical Facilities while 65 COVID related deaths confirmed so far.
Maldives started COVID-19 mass vaccination program on February 1. HPA states 599 individuals were inoculated today.
218,645 individuals have now been vaccinated under the program.
