Health Protection Agency (HPA), on Saturday, reported an additional 94 cases of COVID-19 infections in the Maldives, increasing the tally to 21,476.
As reported by HPA, the 94 new cases includes; 65 cases from the Greater Male’ area, 14 cases from islands outside Male’, 15 cases from operational resorts, and no case from liveaboards.
Meanwhile, 18,967 people have made full recoveries in total.
Maldives currently has 2,438 active cases and 136 patients are being treated in Hospitals and Medical Facilities while 64 COVID related deaths confirmed so far.
Maldives started COVID-19 mass vaccination program on February 1. HPA states 9,770 individuals were inoculated today.
198,206 individuals have now been vaccinated under the program.
