The Health Protection Agency (HPA) has reported 816 cases of COVID-19 in the Maldives in the previous 24 hours.
Official records show that 413 cases were discovered in Greater Male in the last 24 hours, while 249 cases were discovered on residential islands.
Furthermore, 92 cases were discovered at operational resorts, and liveaboard 15 cases bringing the total number of confirmed cases in the Maldives to 100,451.
Meanwhile, 354 more COVID-19 patients have been verified to have achieved full recoveries in the previous 24 hours, bringing the total number of recoveries to 95,056.
The number of confirmed COVID-19 fatalities has reached 264.
Currently, 397,070 persons have gotten their first dosage of the COVID-19 vaccination, 368,465 have been completely vaccinated, and 28,544 have received their booster dose.
