Maldives Customs Service has revealed that they have seized 10 KG of narcotics.
According to a statement released by Customs the illegal narcotics were found from the luggage of a 48-year old Pakistani male who was trying to smuggle it by air.
Preliminary testing of the drugs proved the substances to be heroin with a total weight of 10.2 KG. It is expected to have a market value of MVR 12 million, according to Customs.
Maldives Police Service is currently investigating the case.
