Dhiraagu, the country’s largest telecommunications company, reported MVR 617 million in total revenue in the second quarter of 2021, a 6% reduction from the first quarter.
According to Dhiraagu’s financial report, the telecoms business posted a net profit of MVR 195.8 million, an 11% decline from MVR 219.8 million in the first quarter of this year. However, that represents a 51% gain over the same period last year.
During the second quarter of 2021, Dhiraagu earned MVR 230.6 million in profit before taxes.
Furthermore, the company earned MVR 617 million in total sales for the second quarter, a 6% decline from MVR 660 million in the first quarter of this year. However, this is a 13% increase over the second quarter of previous year.
