Dhiraagu, the leading telecommunications and digital service provider in the Maldives, has announced that it will be distributing a dividend of USD0.47 per share for the year 2023.
The decision was made during the company’s 34th Annual General Meeting (AGM) held at CROSSROADS Maldives. The final dividend, which was approved by 125 shareholders representing 71.3 million shares, amounts to a total of USD36.1 million.
The dividend will be paid in two parts, with an interim dividend of USD8.1 million being paid at USD0.10 per share, and a final dividend of USD27.9 million at USD0.36 per share. The dividend will be paid to registered shareholders of the company.
In 2022, Dhiraagu recorded a revenue of USD 162.1 million. The company had distributed a dividend of USD0.40 per share in the previous year, which means that this year’s dividend represents an increase of USD5.57 million.
