Dine-in services of Cafes and Restaurants in Greater Male’ to be banned from 20:00 to 22:30 starting 27th February.
As part of the new restrictive measures to curb the spread of COVID-19 in Maldives, HPA announced that Dine-in services for all cafes and restaurants in the Greater Male’ area will be banned from 20:00 to 22:30. However, takeaway and delivery services will still be allowed for these establishments until 22:30.
Maldives recorded 184 new cases of COVID-19 today alone.
Health Minister warned that Greater Male’ is in critical condition and will require a lockdown to curb the spread of the virus but wants to avoid it at all costs.
Maldives currently faces a vulnerable time in which the daily cases have been increasing rapidly despite the vaccination efforts.
