Etihad Airways has announced a significant enhancement for travelers, providing access to 16 diverse destinations across the Maldives through an interline agreement with the national airline, Maldivian.
This bilateral agreement facilitates a seamless travel experience for passengers flying with Etihad Airways, allowing them to explore and connect to various atolls in the Maldives using a unified ticket. The destinations covered under this arrangement include prominent tourist spots, enhancing the overall travel experience for Etihad’s customers.
Ibrahim Hamdhan Mohamed, General Manager at Maldivian, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, stating that the interline agreement with Etihad opens up exciting opportunities for customers to discover and connect with a network of 16 destinations throughout the Maldives.
Etihad Airways, the national carrier of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), has concurrently increased its flight services to the Maldives, with an additional four flights scheduled for January 1, 2024. This expansion aims to meet the growing demand for travel to the Maldives and will result in a total of 14 weekly flights by the beginning of the upcoming year.
