Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has announced that the shore protection project at Fainu, Raa Atoll, is nearing completion, with an overall project progress of more than 60%.
The construction of the revetment for the shore protection project began on November 1, according to the company.
The project’s activities include 8100 cubic meters of sand backfilling and the building of a 250-meter geobag revetment.
Furthermore, the Fainu shore protection project is expected to cost MVR 8.96 million.
