Fenaka Corporation Limited hosted a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of a new Fenaka office building in Raa Meedhoo on Tuesday.
Meedhoo Council officials, government officials, Fenaka Meedhoo branch staff, and local people attended the occasion.
The new Meedhoo office building, according to Fenaka, has a conference room, a reception space, a lobby area, a manager room, a prayer room, a rest room, and a storage.
Speaking during the event, Fenaka Managing Director Ahmed Saeed Mohamed stated that Meedhoo’s power network improvement project would begin later this year, and that work is now underway to deliver an 800kW generator to Meedhoo to increase electricity capacity.
Fenaka announced that after the new office is completed, the administrative tasks that were previously performed in the island’s old Fenaka office would be transferred to the new office building. According to Fenaka, this will allow the firm to give consumers with more contemporary, uniform, and effective service.
Fenaka further stated that the new office would comply to the company’s health and safety requirements and will be developed in accordance with innovative architectural concepts, allowing for improved working environments while minimizing work-related dangers and hazards for Fenaka workers.
