Foreign Minister Abdulla Shahid, President-elect of the 76th Session of the United Nations General Assembly, has arrived in Bulgaria for an official visit.
On Monday, Minister Shahid left for Bulgaria. During his visit, he is set to meet with Bulgarian Foreign Minister Svetlan Hristov Stoev, with whom he will discuss bilateral relations and identify avenues for cooperation to strengthen the nations’ existing connections.
Minister Shahid will also meet with Bulgaria’s Tourism Minister and other senior government officials to discuss ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation in a variety of sectors.
During these meetings, Minister Shahid will also present his vision for his Presidency of Hope and share his priorities for the 76th Session of the United Nations General Assembly.
Minister Shahid had left for Bulgaria only two days after returning from an official visit to India. He returned from India on Saturday.
