Ministry of Education has revealed that the government will provide financial assistance to pursue higher secondary education in private institutes, for students who don’t get entry into the Center for Higher Secondary Education (CHSE).
In a message shared with the media on Thursday night, the Ministry noted that the government will provide financial assistance to pursue higher secondary education at private schools for students who are unable to get entry into CHSE, despite meeting their entry requirements. This comes after many parents voiced the government to cover a part of private school fees of places such as Villa College.
Financial assistance will be provided for students who apply for it. Students would be eligible if they had studied in any of the schools in the Greater Malé Area.
