Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has finished the land reclamation and shore protection project at Guraidhoo, Kaafu Atoll.
According to MTCC, the project, which was undertaken to address the lack of land faced by Guraidhoo inhabitants, was finished on September 27.
The project comprised 15 hectares of dredging and reclamation activities, as well as the construction of a 1200-meter rock boulder revetment.
MVR 85.04 million was spent on the Guraidhoo land reclamation and shore protection project, according to MTCC.
