The harbor construction project at Rasmaadhoo, Raa Atoll, is making substantial progress, Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) said.
According to the company, the largest excavator in the MTCC fleet was dispatched to the Rasmaadhoo harbor basin for hard-strata destruction.
The harbor project includes dredging and excavation activities totaling 8,100 cubic meters, as well as the building of a 377-meter breakwater.
In addition, the company stated that 600 square meters of paved space, navigation lights, and streetlamps will also be installed as part of the project.
The Rasmaadhoo harbor development project is worth around MVR 28 million.
