The Housing Development Corporation (HDC) has recently inaugurated The Clay Studio Maldives, which is the first-ever pottery and ceramic arts studio in the country.
HDC’s Managing Director, Ahmed Athif, formally opened the studio, situated on the ground floor of Raincrest Residences in Hulhumalé. The studio is designed to offer courses in pottery and ceramic arts, providing a platform for both children and adults to explore their artistic skills using clay.
Apart from offering courses, the studio will also host exhibitions and workshops for freelance artists, which will significantly enhance the cultural and artistic scene in the Maldives.

HDC aims to promote the creative industry in the Maldives by providing an opportunity for art enthusiasts to learn and develop their artistic skills. The Clay Studio Maldives is anticipated to be a vital addition to the country’s artistic community.
