On its 22nd anniversary, the Housing Development Corporation (HDC) introduced its new brand, Urbanco, and a mobile application to make its services easily accessible.
The Urbanco app allows users to submit complaints, check the status of various projects, events, and bids, and access lease payment services. HDC has redefined its identity to build a better future for the people of Maldives, taking its knowledge across the islands and transforming the Maldives economy through its Beyond Hulhumale’ initiative.
As a 100% state-owned company established in 2001, HDC is responsible for the overall planning and building of the reclaimed land of Hulhumale’, striving to make it the nation’s first sustainable venture. Additionally, HDC operates the industrial islands of Thilafushi and Gulhifalhu in Kaafu Atoll.
