Housing Development Corporation (HDC) has begun accepting proposals for the development of Marina View apartments in Hulhumale’ Phase II.
HDC plans to develop three apartment buildings for the project on land plots spanning 13,000sqm each and accompanied by commercial buildings. The company guidelines dictate that the buildings need to have a total of 549 housing units. As such, contractors will be required to construct a building with 231 apartments, a building with 208 apartments, and a building with 110 apartments. Each building will need to be built with parking areas in the basement.
Furthermore, contractors will be required to construct the buildings with 2-3 room apartments. Two-room apartments will need to have a space of 750sqft and three-room apartments will need to have a space of 1,000sqft. Each room will need to have a bathroom and each apartment will need to have a sitting room, kitchen, laundry room, and a balcony.
The project also includes the construction of Marina View Commercial areas with three two-storey buildings. The buildings will be connected to one of the three apartment buildings by sky bridges.
HDC has requested interested parties to submit their expression of interest by June 14.
