Health Protection Agency (HPA) has announced the list of islands with a COVID-19 infection rate of 5 percent and above.
The list includes the greater Male’ region, Lh. Naifaru, B. Maalhos, Th. Veymandoo, K. Huraa, K. Dhiffushi, and ADh. Maamigili.
According to the directive published by HPA on April 16th, individuals who have completed their second dose of COVID-19 vaccine will be permitted to quarantine free travel to islands with a 60% vaccinated population.
Furthermore, it said a negative PCR test was mandatory if the island individual was traveling from has 5 percent or more positive cases and the same applies to individuals who are not eligible for vaccinations, such as minors.
