The Health Protection Agency (HPA) is set to be summoned to parliament’s Economic Affairs Committee tomorrow.
Economic Affairs Committee will question HPA regarding the restrictive measures imposed to curb COVID-19 spread and its negative impact on local businesses.
Chairperson of the Economic Affairs Committee and Alifushi constituency MP, Mohamed Rasheed said HPA will be present at tomorrow’s parliament meeting.
HPA last month announced the closure of dine-in services at restaurants and cafes from 8PM onwards, however, they have eased the restriction until 10:30PM today.
Several restaurant owners have expressed their discontent regarding the new guidelines and the negative impact it is having on their businesses.
