The Health Protection Agency (HPA) announced on Saturday that the Hulhumale immunization center had been relocated to the Hulhumale Hospital.
Previously, vaccinations were given to people at Hulhumale’s flu clinic. The flu clinic has now been closed, and vaccination services have been moved to Hulhumale Hospital.
The HPA issued the notification as some people were uninformed of the vaccination center’s relocation.
The massive vaccination campaign, with the goal of vaccinating 90% of the population, began on Saturday, and the HPA urged everyone to participate in the program.
President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih also reiterated his call for more people to get vaccinated on Saturday, emphasizing that vaccines are the road to resuming normal life after months of hardship.
