The Minister of External Affairs of India, Dr S. Jaishankar is set to arrive today to Addu City on invitation from Foreign Minister Abdulla Shahid.
Dr S. Jaishankar is expected to arrive in the southernmost Addu City at 19:15. The Minister of External Affairs will also call on the President of the Maldives Ibrahim Mohamed Solih in Addu City.
The Minister of External Affairs will be one of the chief guests at the inauguration ceremony of projects facilitated by India, including the National College of Policing and Law Enforcement in Addu City.
During the visit, official talks would be held between both Ministers to review the progress on bilateral cooperation, following which several Memorandums of Understanding and Agreements will be exchanged.
