During the annual staff night event, Island Aviation Services Limited (IASL) announced that employee salaries will increase in March, and benefits that were suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic will be reinstated.
Managing Director Mohamed Mihad stated that this move aims to retain a talented and capable workforce, while also allowing employees to allocate more funds towards their pensions. Additionally, IASL will remove fuel charges from employee tickets and add more benefits.
The event also recognized the hard work of long-serving employees, with awards presented to them. Senior officials of IASL expressed their appreciation for the diligent work of Maldivian’s staff, the country’s flag carrier.
