The Criminal Court on Monday sentenced a local man to jail for stealing mangoes from a tree at the Juvenile Court.
The individual was charged with trespassing and stealing 72 mangoes from the Juvenile Court on 20 September 2021. Moreover, he was charged with trespassing into m H. Kolige.
He was sentenced to jail for the following charges;
- 4 months and 24 days for theft charge
- 2 months and 23 days for trespassing charge
- 1 months 27 days for second trespassing charge
He pleaded guilty to all the charges.
