The Privatisation and Corporatisation Board (PCB) has announced the appointment of Mahjoob Shujau as the Managing Director (MD) and as a Board Member of Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL).
Mahjoob replaces Gordon Andrew Stewart, who was dismissed as CEO and Managing Director last November.
Mahjoob previously served in many senior positions at state level, including as the Managing Director of Housing Development Corporation (HDC). He had also overseen the development and operation of Velana International Airport (VIA) as an official of the President’s Office.
