The Maldives’ health ministry and its Indonesian counterpart signed a Memorandum of Understanding to enhance the Maldives’ health sector.
The MoU was signed in a virtual ceremony on Monday by Maldivian Health Minister Ahmed Naseem and Indonesian Health Minister Budi Gunadi Sadikin.
According to the Maldives’ health ministry, the two nations would interact to share knowledge, initiate expert visits, and develop health regulatory capacity under the terms of the agreement.
Furthermore, the two nations will work together to give assistance in mutually agreed-upon sectors such as primary care, secondary care, health resilience, health financing, health talent, and health technology.
