The Maldives has been reinstated on the COVID-19 travel green list compiled the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
After being relisted on July 29, the Maldives were removed from the list on August 17.
In addition to the Maldives, 21 more countries have been added to the list, including Oman, Qatar, Cyprus, Croatia, Italy, and Japan. There have been no additions or deletions to the list of nations that were previously on it.
The UAE’s green list is a list of countries that have been rated the safest during the pandemic based on efforts made by the different countries to halt the spread of the virus as well as positivity rates. The list is compiled by the UAE Department of Culture and Tourism.
Inbound visitors to the UAE from the countries on this list will not be subjected to a quarantine period upon arrival.
