Shahyd Legacy, a successful Maldivian guitarist, has been named the first ambassador for NFT Tone, the decentralised NFT Market Place for Music Art.
Shahyd Legacy is best known as the lead guitarist of Maldivian metal band Sacred Legacy. He first appeared on the musical scene in late 2004 with his first band, ‘SYN.’ Following that, he pushed his music to a whole new level, forming his own band, Sacred Legacy, in 2006. He has travelled Asia and Europe and achieved international acclaim.
On Friday, Shahyd Legacy revealed on social media that he would be working as an ambassador for NFT Tone to educate next generation artists about the platform and the prospects that come with it. He said that NFT Tone is the next great thing that the music industry requires.
NFT enables music artists to connect with one another and with investors, as well as to digitally exchange NFTs for their creations, within a sustainable and powerful tokenomics system based on the blockchain.
Artists can use NFT Tones to build their own NFTs that can be sold at auction or for a predetermined fee. They may also be able to establish a royalty percentage for each time their NFT is exchanged. A song can be used as an NFT to demonstrate ownership and secure artistic ownership. By purchasing customized editions of their unique NFTs, users will be able to support their favorite artists and content providers.
Furthermore, Shahyd’s fifth solo album “Stasis” is scheduled to be released on the NFT Tone Market Place in late 2021.
