Island Aviation Service (IAS), in charge of operating the national airline Maldivian, has announced that it will be renting two ATR 72-600 aircrafts.
IAS stated that the company is seeking to rent two ATR 72-600 aircrafts for 18 months. Moreover, the first aircraft should be delivered by April and another in May to commence operation.
IAS recently acquired three ATR aircrafts to expand its fleet. ATR aircrafts are easier to maintain and fuel-efficient than other aircrafts in the same category.
Interested parties can submit initial bids (technical documents) on February 10th, and the second phase of bidding (technical and financial documentation) will commence on February 15th. After evaluating all bids, IAS will announce the bid winner in early March.
