Maldivian, the Maldives’ national airline, plans to launch direct flights between Maafaru and New Delhi, India, in October.
On Monday, Maldivian confirmed that flights between Maafaru International Airport and New Delhi will commence on October 21.
Maldivian plans to fly three times a week between Maafaru and New Delhi. This is Maldivian’s first new route since the COVID-19 pandemic broke out.
Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays will be the days for flights from Maafaru to New Delhi, while Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays will be the days for flights from New Delhi to Maafaru, according to the airline.
Two-way tickets from Maafaru to New Delhi start at USD 285 and from New Delhi to Maafaru start at USD 312.
